Sun filled joy of Mediterranean

You can also serve the prepared Mediterranean sauce with boiled rice.

2 spoons of olive oil
100 g onion
3 gloves of garlic
1 Podravka chopped tomatoes (390 g)
200 ml Podravka tomato puree
1 spoon of capers
80 g green pitted olives
1 teaspoon of Vegeta
1 EVA sardines in vegetable oil (115 g)
1 spoon of chopped parsley
400 g Podravka Penne
chopped basil


1. Sauté the chopped onion to soften in hot olive oil.
2. Add crushed garlic, chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, Vegeta Mediterranean, strained and rinsed capers, and sliced olives.
3. Sauté the sauce for 10 minutes, then stir in sardines cut into pieces.
4. If necessary, add salt, pepper and sprinkle with parsley.


Serve poured over cooked pasta and sprinkle with chopped basil.
